Third-party certification supports our technical delivery. Site controls and traceable evidence demonstrate how that competence was applied to the individual building.
Certification
Official scheme branding is shown for identification, with FireX’s assessed service scope stated alongside. Current certificates and scheme-specific member marks are available on request. The links below lead to the scheme providers’ own websites.
Use the BM TRADA Certified Companies directory to check the current status and scope of Q-Mark-certified suppliers. Confirm that the certificate and scope supplied for a project are current and applicable to the work being procured.
Understanding the scope
FireX holds the following BM TRADA Q-Mark scopes. Agree which applies to your project and what records will be provided before the work begins.
Installation of doorsets using the applicable specification, manufacturer instructions and supporting evidence. Handover records identify the door, installation checks, products and applicable scheme documentation.
Fire door installationMaintenance and permitted remedial work to existing doorsets. Certificate eligibility depends on the existing evidence, proposed repairs and scheme scope; it should be established before work is instructed.
Repair certification explainedInstallation of suitable fire-stopping systems for the actual substrate, service and opening. Location-linked records identify the system, relevant detail, photographs and applicable scheme documentation.
Fire stopping installationOur company certification demonstrates an assessed service scope. It does not retrospectively certify every existing doorset or establish compliance of the entire building. Where supporting certification evidence cannot be established for an existing door, agreed nominal-door repairs are recorded on a completion worksheet with photographs, rather than presented as retrospective product certification.

Building Safety Act
Our procedures are designed to support clear dutyholder communication, competent delivery and reliable records of safety-critical work. Information is captured close to the point of installation so it can be checked and used during handover.
