Review the information
Provide reports, asset references and drawings where available. We identify missing detail, survey needs and technical questions before confirming the affected scope.
FireX regional services
FireX delivers passive fire services across Berkshire for housing, public and commercial property portfolios. Fire doors, fire stopping, compartmentation and fire damper work can be scoped as individual packages or coordinated within a planned programme.
Have a report or defined scope?
Include the postcode, quantities and access requirements.
Regional capability
A multi-site brief needs a clear view of what is required at each building. We review reports and quantities by site, retain asset references and distinguish completed work from outstanding defects so the portfolio team can compare progress without losing the detail.
For sites across Reading, Slough, Bracknell or elsewhere in Berkshire, share the proposed sequence and any operational restrictions. Plant-room access, ceiling access and local permissions should be identified early where fire damper or concealed compartmentation work is involved.
Services in Berkshire
Explore the service scope, delivery approach and records. Requirements are checked against the particular building and available evidence.
Third-party certification
FireX holds these three BM TRADA Q-Mark scopes. Procurement teams should check the current certificate and the proposed work’s eligibility. Fire damper services and other work are not automatically covered by these schemes.

Confirm working windows, appointments, site permissions and responsibility for access. Agree how investigation, remedials and other trades will be sequenced before work starts.
Link the agreed photographs, component or system information and completion status to each location. Record certification where applicable, failed access and outstanding actions separately.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Send the site list, reports, quantities and preferred sequence. We can review the work packages together while keeping access, completion status and outstanding items separate for each building.
Provide the asset list, drawings, previous service records and any known access problems. Plant operation, ceiling access and shutdown restrictions help define the service scope and items needing separate access or remedial work.
Yes, where the supplied references are consistent and identify the correct locations. The record format and reporting platform are agreed before work so photographs, completion status and exceptions can be matched to your asset schedule.
Send the full survey or FRA actions, property address, approximate quantities, photographs and any drawings or product records. Include the required programme and access arrangements. We will identify information gaps before confirming the scope; any on-site survey requirements and charges are agreed before booking.
FireX holds BM TRADA Q-Mark scopes for Fire Door Installation (STD 052), Fire Door Maintenance (STD 058) and Fire Stopping Installation (STD 05B). Certification depends on the applicable scope and supporting evidence. Qualifying door repairs receive a maintenance certificate; nominal-door remedials receive a worksheet and photographs, which do not retrospectively certify fire resistance. Handover records and any outstanding items are agreed for the contract. These three schemes do not cover every service offered.
